Re: Congrats Mark Heiser « Result #2 on Dec 17, 2009, 8:00pm »
Mark you are a great motivator which is one of the most important things for me as a player. I knew every week going into the games that you truly BELIEVED we were going to win. I say BELIEVE because as a coach you are probably supposed to tell your players to go out and win... but, the passion and preparation showed every week with you... I knew you believed in us and that truly motivated me and I'm sure the rest of the guys to go out and lay it on the line. YES, you had THE MOST TALENTED team in the country but I'm not so sure we would been able to do what we did with anyone else but you directing traffic!! Congratulations and THANK YOU!!!!

Thanks Hussy I appreciate it! It's nice to get an honor like that but I can't take credit without recognizing all the coaches and players that made it possible.
We had a fantastic group of dedicated coaches (Jim, Jason, Pete, Justin, Adam, Kahn) who worked hard all year long and put us in a position to win each week.
Then of course all the hard work and dedication from the players that stuck with us and believed in what we were trying to do and accomplish. A coach is only as good as his personnel and we had some really good football players on our National Championship team.
Thanks for your hard work and dedication Pioneers family!

Re: MN Phoenix Winter workout schedule. « Result #7 on Dec 16, 2009, 10:24am »
I want to thank the 50+ guys for showing up to the first MN Phoenix winter workout. It was a good turn out for a saturday late night practice. Next season looks very promising with the addition of player talent and the next level of intensity brought to the practice field by Coach Trapp.

Brad, I love your "taking the high ground/ responsible adult" approach, I on the other hand will not.
First off, I wasn't attacking your team, just your choice in personnel. I have been around this game for a long time and have learned who you can count on and who you can't. I have seen people's track record and allow that to speak for itself. Which has lead me to create opinions about those individuals (opinions that is shared by many). Questions that should have been asked in the meeting leading to these choices/ team creation; Why have they been with so many teams? Why are none of those teams still around? What is their win percentage (when their teams were not coached by the Heiser's)? What other factors do they bring to the team, other than the idea for a team and some start up money, i.e. what is their "FOOTBALL" knowledge, who can they bring in to help the team be successful?
Secondly, this is an open forum, and I have the right to voice my opinions. Some of this message board is used to stir the pot (ladle in hand), some is used to share information, and other to just plainly talk some shyt (got that spelling from Schulz and Juicy). So, with that knowledge, if you can't handle the chatter maybe you are not suited for this.
